What drives the price

Every quote is built from the same five factors. Tell us where you sit on each and we can give you a real number on the first call.

Hours

Part-time, full-time or a shift pattern. Hours are the single biggest factor in your monthly figure.

Seniority

A capable admin assistant costs less than an experienced support agent or a team lead who can own decisions.

Languages

English-only roles sit at the bottom of the range. Fluent French, and later German, Spanish or Dutch, carry a premium because the talent pool is smaller.

Coverage hours

Weekday business hours are the baseline. Evenings, weekends and true 24/7 need multiple people on rota, which changes the shape of the price.

Team size

One assistant is a flat monthly fee. Larger teams get a team lead and QA capacity, and the per-person rate comes down as the team grows.

What's included in every engagement

The monthly fee is not a headcount rental. It's the whole apparatus around the person.

Recruitment

Role design, sourcing, interviewing, language and skills testing, reference checks. No recruitment fee, ever — including replacements.

Training

Onboarding into your tools, written SOPs for every recurring task, and ongoing coaching as your processes change.

Management

A named Beacon manager who runs the daily check-in, sets priorities, handles performance and is your single point of contact.

Quality assurance

Weekly sampled reviews against a written scorecard, plus a summary you actually receive rather than have to ask for.

Backup cover

Holiday, sickness and turnover covered by briefed colleagues working from your documented procedures.

Tooling and workspace

Managed equipment, secure internet and supervision in our Sri Lanka and Madagascar hubs. Your own software licences remain yours.

The honest total-cost comparison

We are not the cheapest option and we don't pretend to be. You can find a virtual assistant on a marketplace for a few hundred euros a month, and we lose deals to exactly that. What follows is the comparison as we'd make it if we were sitting on your side of the table.

The in-house figures below are a typical Western European loaded cost — salary plus employer contributions, benefits, equipment and workspace. Substitute your own regional numbers; the shape of the argument doesn't change.

Hiring in-house locally

€3,500–€5,500/month loaded cost

  • Salary plus employer taxes, benefits, equipment, desk and software.
  • You run recruitment — and pay again if it doesn't work out.
  • You train, manage and appraise the person yourself.
  • Holiday and sick days are your gap to fill.
  • Notice periods and employment risk sit with you.

A freelance marketplace

A few hundred/month

  • Genuinely cheap, and for simple one-off tasks often the right answer.
  • Nobody manages them but you — you become their supervisor.
  • Quality swings between weeks and between people.
  • No cover when they're unavailable, no continuity when they leave.
  • Your process knowledge lives in that one person's head.

Beacon

From €300/month

  • Recruited, trained, managed and backed up by us.
  • A named manager accountable for the output, not just the hours.
  • Weekly quality checks and a written summary.
  • Cover for holiday and sickness; replacement and re-onboarding at no fee.
  • Your procedures documented and owned by you.

Customer support teams from €1,500/month.

We're more expensive than a marketplace and cheaper than a bad hire.

No recruitment fees

You never pay a placement or recruitment fee — not for the first hire, and not for a replacement if the fit turns out to be wrong. There are no setup charges and no exit fee.

Notice period and minimum term are confirmed with you on the discovery call and written into your agreement before you sign anything.

Notice period and minimum term pending confirmation — send us the real terms and we'll state them here.
