What we actually take off your plate

Concrete tasks, not vague categories. These are the things that quietly eat your evenings and weekends.

Inbox and calendar

Answer routine emails, flag what needs you, keep your calendar tidy and send reminders so nothing falls through.

Invoicing and chasing payments

Prepare invoices, follow up late payers politely, and keep a simple ledger so you know who owes what.

Data entry and CRM hygiene

Update contacts, de-duplicate records, log conversations and keep your pipeline honest.

Research

Competitor pricing, travel options, supplier comparisons, event venues — short briefs that save you hours.

Travel booking

Flights, trains, hotels and itineraries, with changes handled when plans shift.

Customer emails

Answer common questions, route urgent issues and keep your customers from waiting.

Scheduling

Book meetings, send prep, manage cancellations and protect the focus blocks in your week.

Small admin projects

Document templates, expense sorting, file organisation — the miscellany that eats your Friday afternoon.

Task list pending confirmation — these are representative examples.

What week one looks like

Most people are nervous the first time they delegate. This is exactly how we get you past that.

  1. Day 1

    We meet your assistant

A 30-minute kick-off call with you, your Beacon manager and your assistant. You explain how you work, what you hate doing and what good looks like.

  2. Day 2

    Tool access and first tasks

We get them into your email, calendar, CRM or accounting tool and start with two or three small, low-risk tasks so you can see their judgment.

  3. Days 3–5

    Daily check-ins

Your manager reviews their work each evening and feeds back quickly. You get a short update on what was done and what needs a decision from you.

  4. Week 2

    Patterns and priorities

We build a recurring task list and a simple handover doc. Your assistant starts owning regular work; you step in only for exceptions.

  5. Week 3+

    Steady state

Weekly planning, daily output, monthly review with your manager. If the fit isn't right, we replace and re-onboard — you don't start from scratch.

Who this is not for

We'd rather turn away a bad fit than sign someone who won't be happy. Beacon is probably not the right choice if:

  • You need someone physically in your workspace every day.
  • You only have a handful of tasks that take less than an hour a week.
  • You want same-minute coverage outside agreed hours.
  • You're looking for a specialist in legal, medical or technical work that needs regulated qualifications.

Simple monthly pricing

No setup charges, no recruitment fees, no surprise add-ons. One monthly fee covers the assistant, the management and the backup.
